Musiikkikilta Pelimannit is a folk music association, which aims to promote traditional music and to make it more known in Finland and abroad. To meet these goals the association organizes concerts and other music events. The members of the association can be booked to make concert or keep music lessons and other music training. Musiikkikilta Pelimannit makes publications within its resources.
The vast majority of the members of the association have graduated as folk music pedagogues or are studying it and folk music in general at the University of applied sciences in Kokkola or at Sibelius Academy, Helsinki.
